We had a relaxed dinner in the sun here. The food was fabulous and the drinks were alright. Our server was super friendly and made the whole experience great. Extra points for not having a ridiculous service charge like other places around, so a tip well deserved. Overall an excellent experience and we'll definitely be back.
Read on Google MapsCIVITAVECCHIA - Requires more spices and sauce preparation. The bacon (pork) bites are very strongly fried, which makes the outer shell fairly hard to get through, but when you bite into the bacon bites, the juicy flavor of the meat with spices comes through and balances everything out. As far as I understand, they didn't add too many spices to the pasta and sauce itself to accent the meat instead, and that gives off a poor reaction to the taste buds. Lasagna Fritta - It's three small pieces of lasagne, and the worst that could happen to it was that it got deep fried, which got rid of most of its moisture, making the dish lose a big portion of its spices and taste. As far as I understand, after they deep-fried the lasagne pieces, they just poured tomato sauce on it (I think the tomato sauce had a big accent of garlic in it as well), but the shocking part was that it came to the table very cold, which gives off the microwaved food situations in Gordon Ramsay's programs. The pasta was cold as well. ( I do know Lasagna fritta is supposed to be like that, but this was very dry and tasteless ) Tiramisu - Has all layers, so far the best thing that my taste buds have tried this evening, but still the mascarpone hasn't been held in the fridge long enough because mascarpone is stretchy rather than easily cut off with the spoon. The lowest layer is fairly tasteless. So far, very average. Antonio is the best waiter in the world, though! I'll learn Italian because of him hahaha Also, the cappuccino was amazing!
Read on Google MapsCame for my graduation meal and had an amazing time. We all had the two course set lunch menu which was amazing value. I had the mussel starter and the prawn linguinie which were both really delicious. We had some cocktails which were all great too! The service was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive and I couldn’t have asked for a better grad meal. Will definitely be back!!
Read on Google MapsThe best italian food I have tasted. The staff were excellent, Giuseppe needs a special mention as his service was 1st class. The other staff I would also mention by name but I never got them. All staff 1st class. Food terrific, service great, value and atmosphere fantastic. I highly recommend.
Read on Google MapsA joint 50th birthday celebration lunch. The staff were excellent and so friendly from the moment we entered until our departure. The food was high quality and so tasty. We will definitely be back.
