Cyrus Kitchen at 5 Clarkston Road in Cathcart – because when someone names their restaurant after themselves, they're either incredibly confident or incredibly good. Spoiler: Cyrus is both. With an almost-unheard-of 4.8-star rating from 260 reviews, this place isn't just good Italian food, it's the kind of restaurant that turns first-time visitors into regulars before they've even finished their first bowl of pasta. Here's Cyrus's whole vibe: "All freshly made and freshly served, Only at Cyrus'" – which isn't just a catchy tagline, it's their entire operation. They're serving up proper Italian cuisine that's made fresh to order, because apparently taking shortcuts isn't in Cyrus's vocabulary. The pasta is freshly made, the sauces are probably simmered with love (or at least really good ingredients), and everything is served the way it should be: fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Located in Cathcart on Clarkston Road, Cyrus Kitchen offers both dine-in and takeaway options, plus they've got fast direct delivery and collection through their online system because they understand that sometimes you just can't be bothered to leave the house. You can book online through their system, or just show up and hope they've got a table (with a 4.8-star rating and 260 reviews, you might want to book). The restaurant operates on that perfect principle: make it fresh, serve it fresh, and let the quality do the talking. With nearly 260 happy customers giving them top marks, Cyrus Kitchen is clearly doing something seriously right. Whether you're in the mood for classic pasta, pizza, or whatever Italian dish your heart desires, Cyrus is there saying "I've got you" in the most delicious way possible.

Pleasantly surprised with how nice my lunch was here. Popped in for an easy lunch and loved how nice the decor was. Served by a polite gent called Louie who was professional and friendly throughout. The owner clearly cares about his food as he was enthusiastic to talk about the ingredients used in my lunch, I opted for the Turkish beef Khoresh. Meat was tender and the whole dish was tasty and fresh. Just moved into the area and will definitely be back to try some of the Italian, especially at such a fair price!

Lovely food made fresh on site. Very friendly and good service. The nice touch of the complimentary homemade truffles with coffee was a nice touch. They advertise as not using additives or preservatives. I had a Makhsos kebab that came with rice and potatoes. I didn’t have a starter and I struggled to finish it and hence didn’t have room for a pudding. So well worth the money and it tasted amazing. My wife and daughter had a pasta dish and pizza respectively and said how lovely and fresh it was. I will definitely be back and well worth the journey from Linlithgow
