The Riverside 1901

We visited for dinner and loved it! Portions were really generous and everything we ordered tasted so fresh and light too. Great presentation, lovely staff and just an all round brilliant experience!

Night out with friend and it was a main of cajun chicken pasta for both of us and a side of garlic bread. Delicious! Friend had the cheesecake of the day which was twix and I had ice cream to finish. All washed down with lovely cocktails (all cocktails were £5! Bargain!) Service was fantastic and although it was very busy our server was always checking in to make sure we were OK and enjoying our food/drinks without being overbearing. 2nd visit here and will definitely be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an incredible dining experience at The Riverside 1901 on the Southside of Glasgow. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We started with the prawns, which were absolutely amazing – perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and a real highlight to kick things off. The meatballs that followed were equally delicious, rich and hearty with just the right seasoning. The pasta was fresh and cooked beautifully, with a lovely balance of flavours that really stood out. For the main, I had the sea bass, which was cooked to perfection – tender, tasty, and paired wonderfully with its accompaniments. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a great balance between stylish and comfortable. Service was excellent as well – attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell the staff really care about the experience they’re providing. All in all, The Riverside 1901 is a fantastic addition to Glasgow’s Southside dining scene. Amazing food, friendly service, and a menu that delivers on quality. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal – I’ll definitely be back.

Delicious 😋 amazing cocktails, highly recommend the spicy senorita and the Irish kiss. Very tasty pizza and carbonara. Service was great too 😁
