Chawp Pet Noi - Thai street food

Just moved to the area & decided to try since we’re Thai food fans. Needless to say it did not disappoint. We opted for the sweetcorn fritters, pork belly roti, chicken satay, cucumber salad, Massaman, and yellow chicken curry. It was all unbelievably good. The pork belly roti was absolutely my favourite dish. I could easily order 5 portions of just that. The beef massaman was so good, especially with it being cold outside it had so much warmth and flavour. I grabbed a takeout menu when I left so I can try some of the spicier dishes in the comfort of my own home. They had no spring rolls or wontons today, so I’ll be returning again just to try those.

I have been here three times now. Two sit-ins and one take-away. I can say that this is the best Thai food I've had, including what I had in Thailand. The server behind the till is one of the nicest servers I've ever encountered. She is friendly and gives you the right amount of attention. The food is stunning, the Beef Massamam melts in your mouth and the taste is rich and delicious. The rice is super sticky and soaks up the sauce and just enhances everything about the disk. My wife had the Pad Thai with Chicken, I tasted some and was astounded by the flavour, absolutely gorgeous. I would be here weekly if I lived nearby. Make sure to make a reservation if you are wanting to sit in as the seating is super limited. I have had no issues booking, if you book a bit in advance there are plenty of nice pubs around to wait in.

Very good creative Thai food. Small lil spot but can easily take away. Definitely recommend the crispy pork and chicken papaya salad. The portions are very generous too.

Phenomenal authentic Thai food. Large portions and very sweet staff. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend. Would be good if they can get more table seating in future 🥳❤️

Great experience at this little Thai cafe. Probably most people would take out but we’re visiting from Canada so opted to sit at the high stools and watch life passing by the window.The fellow who served us had a gentle manner and was friendly and helpful in making sure that gluten and dairy allergies could be accommodated. We ordered the Beef Mussamam Curry which had a rich broth involving star anise and the Pad Kee Mao which had rice noodles with just the right texture. It was possible for us to have the food slightly less spicy.We would definitely eat here again.
