Zeus Greek Street Food

Excellent Greek street food. The feta cheese in pastry is delicious. Some of the portions are really big which makes the prices very reasonable. They were playing loud heavy metal music which honestly felt quite disruptive to our meal, but otherwise really enjoyed the food and the Greek fizzy drinks. Looks like a great option for delivery!

ZEUS is amazing !!!! Nestled in the heart of the southside in Glasgow this Greek restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere that immediately transports you to Greece. The menu features a variety of traditional dishes, and each one is prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The chicken gyros salad was a standout—tender, juicy pieces of marinated chicken grilled to perfection, the salad bursting with flavour and a side of warm pita bread. To finish, the baklava was a delightful treat, with layers of flaky pastry, honey, and nuts that provided a sweet end to the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Greek cuisine! Also as I am Greek I asked the girl at the till where the halloumi is sourced. I was very pleased to find out that it is the traditional authentic village halloumi. I am so pleased with this service, fantastic service🤍

Only recently discovered Zeus, and it’s already my favourite place to eat in Shawlands. I’ve had multiple delicious meals here, and the food is always so fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. The staff are absolutely wonderful — always friendly and welcoming, even in 30°C heat! Can’t recommend it enough if you’re after some authentic Greek food and a genuinely warm atmosphere🇬🇷

I recently returned from a holiday in Greece, where I ate a ton of gyros from various places. I had a mixed gyros from Zeus, and I'm happy to say it definitely matches the standard you'd get in Greece. Very tasty and a great portion size. Gyros and a drink for a tenner is also really good. I'll be back!

THE MOST satisfying takeaway there is without feeling horrible afterwards, everything is so fresh. So tasty and doesnt feel mass produced at all, every order made fresh with care and seasoned to perfection, cannot recommend this place enough, the owner is a big ride too 😍
