Villa Toscana Restaurant

We dropped by for dinner before a show at the SEC. The place was packed but we were quickly seated as we had a reservation. The waiters were flying around which is understandable but also made the atmosphere not very relaxing. The food was great and came out quick, though the pasta portions could have been bigger. I got the cannelloni which were supposed to be filled but they were simply served with the sauce on top like any other pasta. Overall a good experience, but there's room for improvement.

Gabby and sammy were amazing, brilliant service. Food came really quickly and was absolutely delicious. Would recommend the carbonara, fish of the day, focaccia and cheesecake. Such a shame I live in England not Scotland.

Nice decor giving the place the Italian feel. Waitress was very attentive. Garlic bread starter was a bit disappointing. Was expecting more than a sliced medium cut packet bread with a bit of garlic spread over. Lasagna for main was tasty , well presented probably could of done with a bit more garnish. Visited on a Monday night so very quite inside. Would I go back? No.

Well worth a visit, staff are friendly and our waitress was exceptional to be perfectly honest. Food was great, one steak was overcooked, but this was replaced with no questions asked. All other meals were said to be perfect 👌 I'd recommend a visit if you are in the area for sure

Absolutely love this restaurant booked dinner for 2 called ahead to see if they can maybe do a little something for partner as it was her birthday turned up on the night and was blown away by what the staff done ,roses, chocolates and a birthday card amazing my partner loved all of it a special mention to sammy she looked after us on the night cant thank her enough and the chef for amazing food .
