Been meaning to write this for a while now. We went there for date night in September! It was a Thursday night and table was booked for 7pm. It was very quiet, just a few other tables so they told us there was no rush for us to leave as we weren't restricted by time. The food was delicious! We ordered a starter, an extra side, a main course and a dessert even though we were so full by the time it got to the dessert, but we got greedy and didn't want to miss out. We also ordered a bottle of wine - a montepulciano which was just gorgeous. The staff were very polite and extremely friendly and were happy to offer their recommendations, which was spot on! Thank you for a lovely meal.

Highly recommended. We came here for the Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. The food was a different class and the set menu was small, but but brilliant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend booking a table beforehand as the venue is small, and rather busy

I highly recommend this place. Visited recently and really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. I loved the idea of the savoury churros and they were definitely a highlight I'd recommend trying. Also had the steak for 2, which was plenty of food and was great.

Had a lovely sunny Sunday roast at The Loveable Rogue as part of our anniversary celebrations. The service was quick and friendly, with some added touches for our anniversary which we appreciated ❤️ all the food was very tasty and we were very full afterwards. We’ll be back soon!

I’ve been to the West End spot before, but this was my first visit to The Loveable Rogue Southside location. Had to order the churros, £8.50 - they were my favourite last time, still great! And my fav Freedom Bakery sourdough, £5.50. For the main, I went for the roast lamb rump, £29.50, and unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. The lamb was v salty, with nothing to balance or cut through it. The portion felt small, and I actually left feeling hungry - not what you’d hope for with a £30 dish. A side might have helped, but no one mentioned that and at that price point you expect a bit more substance and satisfaction. The rest of the table seemed happier though - the moules frites were half the price and a solid portion. Can’t say I’d rush back for this one.
