Delicious meal at The Jolly Tamil. We got a large selection from the menu and everything was so fresh, tasty and bursting with flavour. Family run business and everyone is so welcoming, menu was explained in full and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was ok. Beautifully decorated and great value! Highly recommend 😊

Went to the soft opening of the Jolly Tamil - it was wonderful! The mutton rolls, fish cutlets, mutton curry and wattalpan were delicious and authentically Sri Lankan. The veggie dishes (carrot and cabbage sundial and the tender jackfruit curry) were very good. Looking forward to Amma’s specials over the coming weeks!

Friendliest welcoming staff, lovely food and great atmosphere! We got the mutton rolls (which I did not have time to take a photo of because I ate them so quickly), the jackfruit cutlets and the cauliflower small plates, the Watalappam dessert is a must try! Can’t wait to come again and try the other desserts and mains! Can’t wait to see what else the creative team will come up with for their menu!

Visited Jolly Tamil on their soft launch night and was very impressed. The surul surul bites and jack fruit curry stood out for me as well as the cabana kothu and kokkoru ko 65 which my partner had. We were very well looked after and the restaurant itself had great ambience. Love the family concept and looking forward to any new menu additions in the future! (P.S Watalapppam is not to be missed)

One of the best places I have been to lately. The space is so lovely decorated and has the feeling of home. The service was amazing: attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. And the food was so delicious! Had depth, flavour, balance, and was impeccably executed. The menu has a bit for everyone, sizes are great for sharing/ trying different types of foods and it ranges from mild to very spicy. You could feel the love, passion and joy that the family are putting into making the food and welcoming the guests. It was a special evening and I am grateful to have discovered the restaurant. Thank you for everything! Already looking forward for next time! 😁
