Reviews
Excellent service and excellent atmosphere, place was buzzing and is really nice to sit in and absorb with your metaphorical naan like brain while enjoying some literal naan like bread. Cobras were delivered to the table pronto though the extensive beer / wine / spirits menu was tempting. The food was alright, mildly disappointed considering how great the service and decor is. It’s a small plates place so we ordered: Chicken pakora - alright, batter wasn’t crisp, sauce was decent but portion size was too small Potato, spinach and mushroom bhoona - could taste the fresh spinach but wasn’t packed with flavour Fish Karahi - three big chunks of smoked haddock in a simple but nice tomato-y sauce Lamb biryani - not a lot of lamb and rice felt quite dry even with the curry sauces Chilli paneer - almost like sweet and sour paneer, odd and was hoping more for a dry rub Garlic and coriander paratha - decent bread but not strong enough flavour of garlic Overall was a lovely service and an enjoyable evening. If they took slightly more risks with the flavours I would be back in a flash! Cheers anyway :)
Read on Google MapsHad a very good curry in here on a busy Friday night. Food was all brought out together, so not much room on the table but we really enjoyed our meals. Friendly staff were very efficient and the whole place had a good ambience.
Read on Google MapsA return visit for our family and delighted to introduce my parents to this restaurant. They loved it as much as we do, and are already planning their next visit. The food was amazing as usual, the service was fantastic as usual, and the server and kitchen were extremely accommodating in relation to a couple of bespoke requests we made. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and 5 stars honestly seems inadequate! Thanks again guys
Read on Google MapsSuch a warm and welcoming restaurant with a lovely ambiance. The food was absolutely phenomenal, just bursting full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and everything was extremely reasonably priced. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
Read on Google MapsBrilliant Tikka; no food colour for change from other places. Aloo tikki, samosa, veg pakora very tasty. Desi machli was a bit spicy, spinach mushroom chicken was delicious! Mango kulfi was good too. Quick service.
