The Green Goose is a small vegetarian cafe and deli on Minard Road in Shawlands. It does breakfast rolls, sandwiches, wraps, salads, cakes and coffee, and much of the menu is vegan. Reviewers often mention the vegan breakfast bap with sausage, haggis and scrambled tofu, the potato and leek hash browns, the Cubano made with pulled jackfruit, and the curried cauliflower wrap. The Green Goose Salad is green falafel and veg with hummus and pesto. Prices are low for Shawlands and reviewers rate it as good value. It is mostly a takeaway spot. Seating is limited to a small bench, so plan to take your food away. You can also order delivery on Deliveroo. Reviews say it is dog-friendly. So happy we found this gem! The loveliest service, with warmth and great recommendations. Vegan menu is extensive, highly recommend the salad bowls, the smores hot chocolate, and you have to try a cake or cookie!! Will be back for a brekkie box soon as it sounds too good and they have really reasonably priced jacket potatoes, design your own sandwiches, and lots of toppings to choose from! Highly recommend

And the staff were so lovely ☺️ my sister had a good chat with the counter staff about avocados lol. Very well priced too. Have been meaning to come here for ages and will certainly be back again.
Read on Google MapsWent out of our way to go here and so glad we did. Everything was tasty, wholesome and so cheap! The hash browns are divine. We sat at a bus stop in the rain pigging out on the most delicious food. Vegan square sausage was 10/10
Read on Google MapsGood value for money and healthy. The soup for £2.5 with half a slice of bread was great on a cold day like today. You can also build your own sandwich or wrap for £5.5. Overall a good deal. Staff are friendly that's a bonus however, there's limited space to sit and no toilet.
