Came here for a late lunch on a Sunday. Pretty quiet time, which I like(suppose they just opened). Deco is billionaire kitsch with a splash of cozy. I don't mind it. I've seen worse For the meal I had marrow and a lamb steak(first time). Marrow was great, the garlic and chili nicely complimenting the fatty dish, equal parts indulgent, regret and a wish for coronary blockage. I'm not convinced with the lamb steak though. Ordered mine medium but it definitely came medium well. It's one of those thin cut steaks, hard to get a proper sear outside without drying up the inside too. I'm no grill master but if you can't do it right best not to offer it. Paid £35 for the two dishes which I suppose is fair(not from around here). Not a great steak experience but I am willing to try again ordering an easier cut.
Read on Google MapsA very average place for food. Had the steak was just about decent. However cannot say the same for drinks, overly sweet just a load of syrup and ice tbh. No idea why the daiquiri’s are severed as a monstrosity leaking all over the table.
Read on Google MapsHave been here a couple times before and very thing was great. However the last time I went there was a very clear that who ever was in the kitchen just didn't care, I normally get the tomahawk steak which is £90 and very nice but this time it was half the size and inedible. I complained about it but since they had came over n asked if everything was ok and I had said yes even though I had only had one bite they couldn't do anything, the steak wasn't hot it was warm at best half of it was cold and over cooked the other half was rare after asking for it medium well and it looked like It had been reheated, it is very disappointing as this place was one of my favourite for steak but unfortunately the last experience I had here was just not it, you would expect better service if you are pay almost £100 for a steak but nope they couldn't do anything. I have added some photo of what the steak looked like the first time and what I got the last time
Read on Google MapsI recently visited this place with a few friends for a celebration. I had gotten a burger, which was good. I originally planned to try the steak; however, I wanted to be on the safe side as I’ve never had food from this place. One thing I didn’t expect was that everything down to the sauces had to be ordered separately, which I found a bit weird. I did try my friends’ steaks but wasn’t a fan of any. Because of that, I probably won’t come back as it is a steak place. That said, the customer service was good and there wasn’t much of a wait
Read on Google MapsI visited this place for my anniversary again , and the atmosphere was truly incredible – romantic and peaceful. The service was five-star, and the staff were extremely friendly. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly as requested, though I felt the portion was a bit small, but that didn’t affect the taste. The starters were amazing, especially the halloumi with its delicious sauce and prawns with the sauce also delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion.
