With a solid 4.3-star rating from 243 reviews, this place has clearly earned its spot as one of the Southside's favourite spots for stylish dining and, let's be honest, excellent cocktails. The vibe here? Think worldly traveller meets local favourite. The menu is inspired by Mr MacGregor's worldly travels (we're picturing him with a steamer trunk and excellent taste), offering everything from brunch (with vegetarian and vegan options because they're thoughtful like that) to Sunday roasts that probably make your nan's jealous. They've got brunch menus, lunch menus, dinner menus, Sunday menus, children's menus – basically if you can eat it, they've got a menu for it. Oh, and did we mention it's a gin emporium? Because it's definitely a gin emporium. Their special offers are absolutely iconic: "The Sip Club" gets you a main course and your choice of THREE cocktails for £30 (Monday to Saturday 12-3pm – this is peak lunch energy right here). Then there's "Brunchilicious" which includes a mimosa on arrival and grazing dishes for £35. Because nothing says "I'm living my best life" like bottomless mimosas at 9:30am on Saturday morning. Opening hours are Monday-Thursday 10:30am-4pm, Friday 10:30am-11pm, Saturday 9:30am-11pm, and Sunday 9:30am-8pm – they're basically ready whenever you are. Came on a Saturday night. Initially quiet at first but looked busy as the evening went on. Staff were absolutely fantastic - cannot fault them at all. Friendly, funny, attentive. Food was good, but not quite excellent - hence the 4/5 rating. Had an issue with one of our mains but it was resolved quickly and with no fuss. The cocktails were fantastic. All in all a nice place and we certainly enjoyed our visit. I’m only deducting a point as I think for the prices the food wasn’t quite there for me on this occasion. That being said, we’ll definitely visit again.

Read on Google MapsFound this lovely restaurant for a family brunch during the week. The staff could not have been nicer - really welcoming and friendly. Very attentive too, especially for the kids in the group. The food was excellent, good size portions and quick to be served even though the restaurant was quite busy. Definitely somewhere I will come back to.
Read on Google MapsHats off to the interior designers. The decor is glorious. It’s classy, comfortable and refined. Nice enough to enjoy some leisurely daytime brunch and special enough to justify evening dining. Friendly service and a nicely curated menu. Portions generous. Prices affordable. It’s not as technically competent as the very best brunch spots I’ve tried but it’s a worthy competitor to any upscale cafe or glasgow eatery. On this occasion we used an Itison deal and the waiting staff were more than helpful and accommodating to our navigation through the menu. Often this is not the case so credit to them.
