Get Smashed

Hi All, I am happy to say that the food and the atmosphere were good a few days back, but not today. Let me tell you about my unpleasant experience in this establishment. Today, I went to the restaurant and I wanted to try something new, so I ended up ordering smashed beef-loaded fries. The order has coleslaw included in it, which is not an option. When I was initially served with my order, I didn't see any coleslaw, so I asked the staff member who served me about it and he told me that the menu had a printing mistake and they normally don't serve coleslaw. So, I humbly asked him why I had not been informed by him, before making the order. I even informed the chef about it, since it was an open kitchen. Immediately, the staff went away in a hurry and bought a small coleslaw tub from the nearby co-op and served it to me. We, as customers, expect the food that we order, to be freshly made with the fresh ingredients that you have in the restaurant (*coleslaw). (*For the owner) Do you think this action of the staff member was good? Because I didn't think that his behavior or reaction was anywhere near satisfactory level. I was unhappy about this incident but I ate my food without causing any unnecessary scenes because if I started questioning about this, it would just escalate the matter. Another traumatic incident happened here, I went to try their gym box for £7.75, a few days after the above incident. After taking the order and paying for the food, I sat on an empty seat. The shop had no other customers at that time. Suddenly, to my surprise, the staff on the counter who took my payment, sat on my opposite seat, and he started questioning me about my review. I told him politely that I had no intention to talk about it because I am only here to enjoy my food. Immediately, he started slamming on the table and chairs. He threw my bag away and started using abusive words and curses. I requested him to refund my payment because he started showering me with continuous abusive words instead of serving my order. I believe none of you would want to eat in such a place with free curses and abuses. I cannot believe that there are still people like this in Glasgow. The staff and owner need to go through an overall training and change ASAP. I will never go there ever in my life again. As the name suggests, if you ever write an honest review with honest criticisms, then "Get Smashed", by the staff members. I don't think this establishment deserves any sort of respect from the people of Glasgow. Please don't encourage such establishments that assaults and abuses customers. This affects the good reputation of the Glasgow people and society. Please make the below improvements ASAP. *Note for the owner: 1. Please train your staff on proper communication etiquette and efficient management of customer grievances. 2. Please maintain the quality and quantity of the food being served to the customers, for the upcoming days. My order today was too salty and please don't argue with me by claiming that this is how you serve food. Try to customise your food based on customer satisfaction and preferences. 3. Please focus on customer satisfaction and provide everything on the menu. 4. Please tell your staff members to avoid shortcuts like buying coleslaw from a nearby Co-op because it will eventually damage the reputation of the organization. 5. Next time, if your staff ever try to assault anyone (customers), remind them that there is law and order in this beautiful Glasgow city, and the police officers with handle it. I ordered pizza and loaded fries today for takeaway. However, when I got home, I discovered that my order was wrong, I received a burger instead of the loaded fries. I also felt that the chicken was slightly undercooked, which was very concerning. I also noticed that the staff member at the till (a girl with long, open hair) was working without a hair net, which I found unhygienic. I hope you will look into this matter and take steps to ensure it does not happen again.

Had Beef classic burger. It was not phenomenal but also not bad to have. Like most of the beef burgers in Glasgow got that beefy smell but this was good.

First time I tried this place for a burger 🍔 to cure my hangover! It didn’t disappoint. Got here pretty quickly. Packaged really well. Felt like it was Christmas 🎄, and really special. Food was warm and burger was very tasty. Will definitely be back. Yum. (But our Irn Bru didn’t show 😢) Jan xxx

Small place with only a few tables, nothing fancy, but the burger and loads fries were excellent!! The food came really quick too. Prob more suited to takeaway or delivery i will definitely order or eat there again!
