Georgic

Been to the Georgic recently for their karaoke night and all I can say is what a laugh we had…great atmosphere and great drink prices, loving the £12 Prosecco deal. Staff were friendly and even joined in with the singing! Will definitely back.

Love the Georgics new look. We went on Friday night to the new quiz night and it was brilliant. Total mix of people and ages gave it such a feel good atmosphere. We sat between two tables of ‘regulars’ who were welcoming and great fun. Staff were lovely and friendly. It’s definitely going to become a new local for us.

Was at the Georgic on Friday for the new Quiz and Karaoke night. Honestly, what a night! Great atmosphere, lovely staff and fantastic hospitality all round. I will definitely be back - thanks to Ashley and her team for a fantastic night. See you all soon!

After not being in for a while, I returned to The Georgic after hearing it had a full refurb and was under new management. I had high hopes, but they’ve quickly disappeared. The place has lost the atmosphere it used to have — the staff seem disorganised, incompetent, and there’s an unfriendly, tense vibe about the place. The management comes across as detached, spending more time behind a screen or on the phone than actually paying attention to what’s happening around them. On one visit I saw an uncomfortable scene involving poor conduct towards a regular, which summed up how badly things have gone downhill. It’s a shame, because The Georgic used to be a great wee pub. It's just not the same pub any more. I won't be back.

What a fantastic wee pub in the heart of shawlands. The new owner has done an amazing job with the refurb making the place bright and modern but still keeping the traditional feel. Had a great night at the opening night and cant wait to come along for a Friday quiz!
