FF West End, also called Finsbay Flatiron, is a bar and restaurant at 160 Woodlands Road in Glasgow's West End. Its speciality is flat iron steak. It's one of three venues in the Finsbay group; the other two, Fullbacks and Charlie's Loft, share a building on Stewart Street in Milngavie. When it opened, The Skinny and DesignMyNight wrote about a short menu built around 8oz flat iron steaks. You could pick a sauce (béarnaise, chipotle, peppercorn or garlic butter) and add sides such as triple-cooked chips, mac and cheese, coleslaw and haggis bon bons. really gorgeous steak and such good value. also really loved the bloomin onion. felt the veg side wasn’t the best, nor were the desserts but overall a really good meal! Such a cool atmosphere as well.
Read on Google MapsThis is a cosy spot for a good dinner and a few drinks. We had their steak and it was very good, and a reasonable price! I tried their Cranberry Mule and it was a very enjoyable, refreshing cocktail. Our waitress was lovely too, I wish I had gotten her name. We had a good laugh about our bill being a palindrome! Overall it was a lovely experience, and we will be back.
Read on Google MapsWe came with 6 people and had absolutely no waiting time. The atmosphere and the interior design were both really nice. The food was good and we didnt wait too long for it. The waiters were very attentive and nice too. All in all we can absolutely recommend the place!
