Cafe Tehran (Persian Restaurant and Cafe)

This place is a true gem in Partick. Fabulous food, big portions, reasonable prices and the friendliest staff! Halal food and nice range of mocktails. They have a lounge area at the bar and a delivery counter at the front. We loved the saffron chicken, the cheesy pirashki, and the lamb shank! We also tried an amazing Dubai chocolate bubble waffle. All truly delicious.

We went to this delightful place spontaneously as we were looking for food across Glasgow. We were welcomed by friendly staff and were presented with many many options which yet did not feel overwhelming either. Went for koobideh (lamb kebab) with hummus which was decently yummy in flavour and texture, but the rice was brilliantly fragrant and fluffy. Portion size was definitely generous so value for money is there. Brilliant home like food, ambience was different and welcoming. Staff brilliant and respectful. Peaceful music, and good variety of food and bonus dessert options. Persian tea is served brilliantly here too.

Lovely meal here for a belated Mothers day with my fab tribe. Portions great, food beautifully cooked and unobtrusive service. Will be back

I actually used the Too Good To Go app and purchased a £15 lunch bag for £4.99! This app is said to be great value for money - trust me with Cafe Tehran it is not! There is no way the small box of mainly rice with a few bits of beef mixed in with some beans and very little sauce was anything more than a snack and could never be sold at the alleged £15 - I was really looking forward to trying food from here but in all honesty it was dry and bland! Rip off!

We had the saffron chicken and aubergine salad. Portions are plentiful, flavours are unmissable. Staff are friendly and service was rapid. Decor is unique and very pretty! I'm really glad this place is here. Will be returning soon!
