What a chill evening we had out. Good drinks, great personal service and the food... Started with truffle honey whipped feta and the portion was massive but the flavor was even more expansive. Didn't realize it was truffled when we ordered, but what a balanced and pleasant surprise. The duck egg rolls were massive, and again, the flavor exceeded the portion size. So crispy and tasty, but the sauce was to die for and added to the tender duck and crunchy wrapper. Had the steak frites for £12.50...and yes please. The steak was recommended at medium but we had rare and the meat sang. There was a surprising amount of crust for a delicate piece of a modest cut of beef. The fries were skinny but salty and sweet, even a skinny fry pessimist enjoyed. Very quiet (Tuesday night) but the lighting and vibe were so smooth we stayed for an extra drink. Great experience and a place to visit not just for the specials, but the Sunday roast or other events as well.

It is one of the best services and quality of food establishments I've been in!! I went with a itson voucher, and due to what was being served, I upgraded right away. It's totally the right choice. The host was a lovely young fella, full of knowledge on his products, wines, and cocktails. A young lady with fab tattoos joined half way through the meal...she was fab too. Can't believe Bar & Tender manage to produce such quality within their price budget. Sticky toffee pudding and ice cream.......you will hate yourself if you don't have a portion.......my only issue is staff should be giving out a warning to say ....it's not for sharing!! Lol Please give them a try, it's not a chain, hence quality over profit margin, I hear they are changing the menu in the next few weeks. I'll be back to try the Sunday roast.....meat, gravy and some sides......it's the perfect Sunday at Bar & Tender!!!!!! 10/10

A genuinely fantastic experience from start to finish. Warmly welcomed within 30 seconds of arrival. The service was outstanding and the food was very very impressive. I'd thoroughly recommend this place.

The sunday roast is a great deal and the place is lovely, staff are wonderful but when we were there it was only one guy working tables, now it was quite so that was fine but he seemed overworked and it means you might not get the fastest service. The food is lovely with the steak being medium well and sides abundant. The only issue was the carrot paste (which was clearly fresh) was on everything which I'm not a huge fan of. The soup of the day; carrot and corrieander, was also amazing.

Came on a Thursday night for the Steak Frites. It was pretty quite when we arrived but busier as the time went on. We all ordered the Steak Frites and it seemed to take a while to arrive. When it did we all enjoyed it. It's a cracking deal for what you get! Recommened!
