To mati

Me and a friend went to To Mati for food, both the guys who were there at the time welcomed us with open arms, sat us down and made us feel welcome. We then ordered food, portion sizes are great and it’s good value for money. The food tasted great and me and my friend agreed that it’s some of the best Greek food in Glasgow. I think the place is new and it’s a bit out of the way from the main road but it’s definitely worth a look and a bite to eat. Thanks guys :)

This cozy little Greek spot is a true hidden gem, and their gyros alone are worth the visit — perfectly seasoned, tender meat wrapped in warm pita with fresh veggies and a generous drizzle of creamy tzatziki. The flavors are authentic and balanced, with just the right amount of spice and tang to keep you coming back for more. Pair that with the welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and fair prices, and you’ve got one of the best Greek food experiences you’ll find off the beaten path

Really lovely food. I'm not usually a dessert person, but the both the custard cake and orange cake were outstanding. We dined in rather than getting a takeaway, which was a fun experience - you're sat right in the kitchen!

We were greeted by a lovely smell from the kitchen. Our server (we think is the owner) was lovely and made us feel like we were ordering from parents. We really loved the food! I wanted to take a picture of our order but we could not wait to eat it, the food smelled amazing. Side note for anyone who wants to bring people here to dine, there is a small place to eat but not overly roomy.

Terrible experience. Ordered this for takeout and the packaging is not food safe - the lids arrived melted and we didn’t end up eating it. The paper bowls, clearly meant for salads, were leaking. Called the restaurant which remains unreachable and tried to inform them on saturday. Not a word since so I’m having to do a chargeback through the bank for the most menial thing.
