We'd walked past here a few times and it looked inviting so we decided to pop in. The interior decor is beautiful, it feels very homely. They also had a great selection of wines. For our starters we had the whitebait and olives, main was the pork belly and fish & chips with a side of charred hispi cabbage and I had the deconstructed cheesecake. The quality of the food is just unbelievable, it's probably some of the best food we've had. That whitebait was definitely the largest and best I've had! The charred hispi cabbage would be good to have as a full main meal (or just order 2 or 3 portions). My friend loved her fish & chips, she said it was very tasty and crunchy. The wine prices are also quite reasonable, not what you'd expect from a fine dining place like this so we had two bottles, both of which were nice. Highly recommended and well worth a re-visit.
Read on Google MapsThe food here was incredible. The goats cheese churros and smoked mash especially stood out. Service was also great.
Read on Google MapsThe Loveable Rogue – Glasgow Our dinner at The Loveable Rogue was a spontaneous decision — and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be. From start to finish, the experience was truly memorable. The food was exceptional, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The oyster tempura was simply divine, light and crisp with incredible flavour. The scampi check was wonderfully tasty, and the vegan cabbage dish was bursting with flavour — a real standout. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his beef, cooked to perfection. We ended the evening with a lovely cheese platter, the perfect finish to a fantastic meal. The service was professional and attentive throughout, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Bravo to the team for a wonderful evening — we left already looking forward to our next visit.
Read on Google MapsVery disappointing Went for Sunday roast. A big wooden platter arrived and looked very appetising but we then had to wait ages for the plates with the beef to arrive. The cut of beef looked good but was very tough and was very difficult to cut with a lot of gristle. The Yorkshire pudding looked spectacular but was stone cold. The roast tatties were cold and rock solid. Overall not what we were expecting after all the hype portrayed when entering the restaurant.
Read on Google MapsUnbelievable roast, we had the nicest Irish server he was amazing - fairly new there but incredible vibes and so welcoming. Delicious roast - would recommend to anyone and will definitely go back if in Glasgow again
