An absolute gem! The tea room at The Butterfly and the Pig is a perfect escape. The vintage, shabby-chic decor with mismatched china and cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you've stepped into a beautiful, quirky time machine. The afternoon tea service itself is outstanding. The sandwiches were fresh and flavorful, the scones were warm and delicious, and the selection of homemade cakes and treats was fantastic. They offer a huge variety of teas, and the staff are wonderful—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. It's an incredible value for the quality and experience you receive. I can't recommend this place enough for a special occasion or just a lovely treat. We'll definitely be back!

Came here for lunch and food was nice. Portion size was big and price isn’t too bad. It’s great they are dog friendly! Their menu is really fun, love how they titled and described all their dishes.

Absolutely amazing. We had the haggis, pork belly, steak pies, and brownies. Every dish was incredible. I wish more pubs were this good. Would definitely fly back from Dubai to have this again. Murrin, our server, was fantastic. Thanks so much for making our last night in Glasgow amazing!!!

The Butterfly and the Pig is a delightful place that truly captures the charm of a cozy and welcoming pub with a twist. The food is hearty, flavorful, and well-prepared—perfect comfort dishes done right. Whether you’re after a classic meal or something a bit more unique, their menu has something for everyone. The beer selection is great, with a good variety of local and well-known brews to choose from. Everything was served fresh and at the right temperature, making it a perfect pairing with the meal. What really stood out, though, were the staff—super friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. They made us feel welcome and looked after throughout the visit. Overall, this spot is a real gem in the city. Highly recommended for a relaxed and satisfying meal out!

Came here after hearing such good things about it. Brought my child along, the service was lovely and staff were friendly and inviting. The food was a little disappointing though, the roast came out cold and lacked flavour in some food items. Would return again and give the benefit of the doubt, however this was early lunch time and the restaurant was not busy. Great decor and a really cosy place to be even just for a casual drink with friends, it's dog friendly which is great.
