Sushi Katsu

Great vegan sushi! The ingredients are fresh and they have a good vegan menu. My favourite were definitely the California vegan roll but the vegan plate is also very tasty. For dessert I tried the chocolate vegan cake and the vegan cheesecake... couldn't believe they were vegan: rich texture and really sweet. Totally recommend it! ;)

I can not recommend this restaurant enough. Just discovered this gem of a place tonight. I am the only vegetarian in the family and I am usually left disappointed with the vegetarian options. Its very difficult to find somewhere that caters for everyone...until now. My family enjoyed the tofu and meat dishes just as equally. We were all extremely satisfied with the food and service with a smile! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. I had so many questions regarding the menu but nothing was too much hassle. You can tell the ingredients were top quality and fresh and the food was made while we waited. I can not wait to go back! Highly recommend.

Supermarkets make better “Japanese” dishes than this… Swayed by the reviews we made the mistake of placing a large order. Tried different hot dishes and sushi… hot dishes ended up in the bin, that’s how bad they were. The noodle dishes were extremely salty, tasted and looked the same. Very bad version of Chinese food. Nothing to do with Japanese cuisine, except for the name... If you get the salmon with your noodles for an extra £4.50 you will receive the defrosted supermarket flat filet. Same goes for prawns. The sushi was better than the hot counterparts, but well below mediocre. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else, this place is not worth it. I’m sorry to be this harsh, but the food really was extremely disappointing. Edit-response: Trying to discredit an honest review (it’s not like I have an empty profile) rather than admitting mistakes tells everyone all they need to know about your business.

This place is a sensation. Sushi that Glasgow can be proud of. The vibe inside is instantly welcoming, the owners are generous and energetic with big smiles and genuine passion for their menu. Proud of what they do. The signature dish is the perfect blend of a yummy Katsu fillet with traditional trimmings and a mix of norimaki and nigiri sushi. They are busy and the fish tasted fresh fresh fresh. Avocado, salmon and prawn mix bursting with omega 3 and nutrition. Authentic and smart. This place exudes innovation and the kind of philosophy that can be trusted. For those ordering deliveries without seeing inside I can assure you that the kitchen is immaculate, the chefs gloved and the equipment is the best you can get. I can't praise this place enough. Inspired.

Had the vegan california roll and it was super tasty! U can taste the care n love that goes into the food at this place! Also, the staff is so friendly. I will def be back, what a gem of a place!
