There's no better place in Glasgow to have a satisfying meal on a student discount!

So this subway in particular was a bit rushed i should say. The workers didn't look happy and gave attitude throughout making me sandwich. The place is a bit small so when you walk in they'll ask what you want and then you pay before you set up your sandwich and then you put all the stuff in it. I asked the sandwich maker if she could get it in 4 ways and she said "yeah i know" and proceeds to cut two ways instead... just felt like alot of attitude throughout this interaction. The sandwich itself was kinda funky and the bread was very strong in flavor a bit overwhelming. I hope workers just had a bad day. 💜

Since this is right next to the uni, it can get incredibly busy around lunchtime. To the point the que is out the door. It's a very small store so it can be quite claustrophobic for some people when it's busy. But the staff do a good job of being efficient and got to give them props for doing a good job when it gets that busy. Would recommend going before or after the uni classes break for lunch if you can.

Their scanner has been broken for 2 weeks so I cannot get any points, this time I go they now tell me their scanner is still broken, they're only accepting cash because their card payment system is not working and their drinks machine is not working so they are trying to charge me extra in their meal deal to get a bottle drink instead. There is another subway 3 minutes away where everything is working and a foot-long student meal is 50p cheaper.

Hadn't been at a subway for years. But the woman behind the counter couldn't have been more helpful. She pointed me in the right direction and helped me make my own mind up, and I got a tasty sandwich. A win win all round.
