Visit websiteSpringfield Quay (branded The Quay) is a Clyde waterfront leisure complex on Paisley Road in Kinning Park, not a single restaurant. It sits next to the M8 and houses cinema, bowling, casino, bingo, a gym and an Ibis hotel alongside a cluster of casual dining outlets. Food options on site include Nando's (halal-friendly peri-peri chicken), Mother Hubbard's traditional fish and chips, Burger King, Chaiiwala (desi street food and karak chai), Steak Lounge & Grill upstairs from Chaiiwala (halal steaks and grill), Costa Coffee, and Alea Casino's Waterfront Restaurant with river views (evenings). Free customer parking with a four-hour limit; ODEON Luxe, Hollywood Bowl, Alea Casino, Mecca Bingo and the Ibis hotel can register longer stays. Shields Road SPT Subway is about a 10-minute walk south; McGill's bus 38 runs from the city centre along Paisley Road every five minutes; Glasgow Central is under a mile via the Broomielaw pedestrian bridge.
The Quay has everything. Movie, casino, gym, bowling, and couple of places that offers halal food, such as Nando, Steak Lounge & Mother Hubbards. The riverside view is spectacular. Plenty of parking spaces, but gets very busy over the weekends, so there is a mult-storey carpark for overflow...just make sure not to park over 4 hours anywhere in the Quay.

Read on Google MapsA grand wee visit to the various sites at the Quay. We went at 6pm on a Friday and I was rather surprised just how quiet the place was. We visited Nando’s, Creams and the Odeon Luxe and had a great time. Well worth a visit - but I just felt in all the places there was an “end of season” couldn’t be bothered atmosphere. Maybe just the weariness of another Friday night in Glasgow.
