Reviews
We visited Shawarma King for the kofta, lamb, and chicken wraps, and the food did not disappoint. The flavors were rich, the meat was well-seasoned, and everything was freshly prepared. The only small downside was that the wraps came with more pickled vegetables than fresh ones—we would have preferred a bit more crunch and freshness to balance out the savory flavors. That said, the real star of the meal was the mozzarella sticks. Perfectly crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside—they were absolutely to die for and a must-try if you’re visiting. Overall, a great spot with delicious food and just a small tweak away from being perfect.
Read on Google MapsWe had two chicken shawarma wraps and a fatoush salad at Shawarma King, and everything was fantastic. The naan wrap was soft, fresh, and full of flavor—seriously the best part. Even my daughter, who usually only takes a few bites, ate half of one shawarma on her own! The fries were fresh and crispy, and the fatoush salad was bright and refreshing. The atmosphere was calm, with quiet music—perfect since our 2-year-old fell asleep in the stroller. Service was quick and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. 5 stars all the way—we’ll definitely be back!
Read on Google MapsDefinitely is the Shawarma King of Glasgow. Food is superb just like the takeaway version. Service was quick for us, wasn’t too busy and the place looks great and very clean. We both got the mixed shawarma wrap which is very reasonably priced, filling and tastes amazing. Juice is a little bit expensive but the food is very reasonably priced.
Read on Google MapsI recommend this restaurant only for the food. The food is very good, but the service leaves much to be desired! I reserved a table for 2 adults and 2 children for the iftar dinner and after placing the order, in 20 minutes only half of the order was brought, the order for adults, and after 10 minutes I asked the waitress who she served when she brought us the rest of the orders, the children's order, but it seems that she forgot or I don't know what happened because the rest of the orders didn't come! And I had patience to receive the rest of the orders because my 12-year-old boy fasted all day and wanted to eat! My advice for this restaurant is to change this waitress who, in my opinion, I had the impression that she wanted to sabotage this restaurant because we were not the only ones who were dissatisfied with her services, there were also others and I saw how a table of 7 people got up from the table and left! We thank the other girl with the curly hair (I'm sorry but I didn't ask her name) because after we talked with her, she quickly brought us the order for the children and something sweet from them! A 10 for the food and the place, but for the first waitress who took our order, a big minus!
Read on Google MapsWould have been 4 stars overall if it wasn’t for the terrible customer service one lady running front of house getting the orders wrong forgetting items and then just smirking away when asking for soft drinks! Advise to the owner get more staff who have actual manners and know how to speak to people also is there a shortage of chips! Sticking to the OG take away
