Overall pretty tasty gaff, got the greedy boy starter, which as the name states wasn’t needed. The portions were massive and flavours on point - hadn’t tried Malaysian before, but if it always tastes like this, would try again. Toilet and back room was utterly Bizzare, but adds to the experience. They also dropped an egg on my cousines lap. Good laugh overall!
Read on Google MapsYou know how sometimes you walk into a place and you know immediately it’s the one you were looking for and there’s no point in trying anywhere else? Well Satu Satu is that if what you were looking for is delicious, fresh Malaysian food. You can tell by the murals of Malaysia on the wall, the smells of chili from the open kitchen, the diverse crowd - you’re there. I played it safe, order-wise, and went for long time favourites (eg Mee Goreng) that certainly did not disappoint. Need to come try the rest of the menu out. Only regret was discovering the place too late in the day (place closes at 8.45, admittedly on the early side for a restaurant). You want to properly enjoy the place - make sure and get there early.
Read on Google MapsLovely little place with delicious food and great lunchtime deals. I got Malaysian curry and an iced lemon honey drink
Read on Google MapsVisited the cafe on a weekday lunch, with a reservation for 2. The lunch menu offers various combinations of starters/mains/desserts. Some of the items are not available with these sets. As a Southeast Asian, this food is very tasty and as authentic as one can get back home. But authentic also means don't expect items like chips. We had Nasi Lemak and Hainanese Chicken Rice The portion sizes are in-keeping with the price point. Excellent value for money. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend others too as well!
Read on Google MapsHands down one of my favourite lunch spots in Glasgow West End. They’re not open for long every day but once you get in the service is speedy and the food is tasty. 🍚
