Saffron by Paradise is a family-run Persian restaurant at 411–413 Great Western Road in Glasgow’s West End. For over a decade it traded as Paradise; in 2021 it relaunched as Saffron — same charcoal grill and stews from the pot, now with mazzeh (Persian mezze) plates for sharing, using Scottish produce. Expect kebabs (koubideh, joojeh, chenjeh, mixed grill), classic stews such as ghormeh sabzi and ghiemeh bademjan, and vegetarian/vegan options. Food is halal; many dishes are gluten-free. Best Middle Eastern Restaurant in the whole of Scotland. Bringing Authentic Iranian Cuisine. Atmosphere is Amazing! With a historic theme. The menu is a variety of everything. The only downside is the atmosphere with almost everyone drinking alcohol. But everything was almost perfect. Amazing Banging Food!! (Halal)

The staff were super nice, offering great recommendations and warm service. Cozy vibe, great value, and a meal to remember. Highly recommend!
