Pathetic experience this time. Regular customer of Pepe’s but very disappointed this time on this branch. Chicken was not cooked properly. Only one piece out of whole chicken was a bit okay but rest was uncooked inside.

Easily my favourite “fast food” brand so I’ll openly admit my bias. Sorry, not sorry. This Pepes is a huge branch with loads of seating. Bit of a random location but it wasn’t busy and staff were friendly and kept the tables spotless. Food was cooked fresh and as consistent as ever. It’s not the brilliant value it used to be but it’s a lot of bang for your buck and healthier than the typical burger, kebab or pizza options you might otherwise treat yourself to. Personally I’d avoid the fried stuff as it’s miles off the grilled selections but it’s there for those who prefer it. The rice box is genuinely enormous and could feed two adults and would be my go to order for those looking to did their toes into the mythical blessed land of Pepes Piri Piri. Enjoy!

Came here with a friend for a very early lunch and the place was quiet. Pepe's Piri Piri is mainly a chicken and burger place, but they did have a separate vegetarian menu, so it felt like they would take this kind of thing seriously. Inside, the decorations was fresh and clean with a mixture of booth style seats, breakfast tables and, ordinary tables and chairs. Comfortable. To order the food, there's a counter service like McDonald's or Burger King, the staff welcoming and pretty friendly. There were three very different vegetarian mean options, which is nice for this kind of place. I went for the Paneer Rice meal. Firstly, there were mind-boggling options for how it would be cook and the only thing I could remember was Lemon and Herb sauce. The rice came in a box, rice on the bottom and the paneer on top. Not classy, but Pepe's isn't that kind of place, so fair enough. First of the paneer with the lemon and herb sauce was not good. The lemon sauce was too thick and far too tart. It was so tart, it tasted more like lemon juice than a sauce. Then to top things off, I found two piece of chicken in the paneer. I had to take the meal back to the counter when the manager came out to explain that the chef should have separated out the meat. As a vegetarian, I honestly don't want to know what that meant. Regardless, I got a replacement paneer rice. My friend got a chicken burger which was described as "okay" The only reason I'm giving two instead of one star is because my friend thought his meal was satisfactory, the manager apologised and also replaced my meal without a fuss.

“I visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Although the restaurant’s official closing time is 10 PM, the staff started asking customers to leave around 8:30 or 9 PM. The staff was quite rude, which affected the overall experience. I hope they can improve their service in the future.”

Just tried Pepe's peri peri grilled chicken - absolutely fantastic! Perfectly cooked, juicy inside with a great smoky char. The peri peri sauce had the right kick (medium heat for me) and loads of flavour. Generous portion, fresh chips on the side. Will definitely be back for this and very good service the worker was very professional
