Old Schoolhouse Glasgow

My favourite pub in Glasgow! Always fun, good priced pints. Also the food today was extremely tasty. It was so good I asked to speak to the chef who was called Ryan!! A true talent in the kitchen, I’ll be coming back

First visit for a Sunday roast. Beef was a bit tough, turkey was yummy, stuffing was odd but tasty. The veggie Wellington was the star of the roast, flavorful and we'll put together. Drinks were reasonably priced. Staff was on top of it, especially Gary who went above and beyond. Best part of the visit were the individual TVs that we could control at our table. Interested in coming back to try more food and enjoy watching sports inside and a pleasant setup outside.

Visited on Sunday 20 July for a bit of lunch, both food and service were excellent. We both have limited mobility and the staff were so nice in accommodating us. My husband had the steak and ale pie, he was very impressed that he got extra sauce. My sister had the hot chocolate brownie which had hot chocolate sauce, it was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return. Our server Gary deserves a big thank you from us. We will definitely recommend to our friends.

Always a brilliant visit to The Old Schoolhouse, great atmosphere, good tunes & a proper pub feel that’s getting rarer these days. Big shoutout to Poppy, who always seems to have time for everyone, super friendly, quick with service & just as attentive with the team as she is with customers. You can tell she genuinely cares about making the place run smoothly. A solid favourite whenever we’re in the area. 🍻

What a fantastic bar in Glasgow West End it actually was my first ever visit why? Because being a Arsenal Football Fan they had the whole match on for me what a blessing. I was in company of a friend who brought me to it. The next time I come to Glasgow Scottish Youth Hostel I will definitely come here.. infact on January 11th 2026 I will be 65. So IAM very tempted to come to the West End of Glasgow and have my birthday even at The Old School Pub
