NOLA Soul

i am from the deep south, so i know southern comfort food. this is the absolute best fried chicken i have had outside of the US. everything was cooked to perfection. the biscuit and gravy was even better than variations i have had in the south. if you’re looking for some good southern comfort food, NOLA Soul will not disappoint.

A tiny wee restaurant but huge flavour in their food. We had gumbo, chicken wings, fried chicken burger, fries and biscuits with gravy. All delicious and so reasonably priced too. The guys who own it are lovely too. Book a table xx

Just tried Nola’s Soul and wow—absolutely amazing! We ordered the BBQ and Buffalo chicken burgers, and they were both packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. The fries were golden and crunchy, and the gravy? Next level. All that deliciousness, and the prices are super affordable. Honestly, why go anywhere else for great fried chicken? Nola’s has it all—taste, value, and satisfaction. Definitely coming back!

We loved everything on the menu, but the biscuits & gravy and the beignets are a must! We asked for the gumbo to be without pork and they were able to make the sauce without it as well. They do an alternative to fried chicken as well with mushrooms which was really cool. The space is tiny but they manage to make it work.

I grew up spending summers in the South in the US, including time in New Orleans as my Dad lived there. This is by far the best fried chicken I’ve had outside of the USA. The comeback sauce was delicious, and the biscuits are very very good too (even nicer than a lot of the ones you get in the states!). Anyone from the US missing southern comfort food, this is a must visit. Amazing service too. Thank you so much!
