⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cafe Reeshah is hands down one of the best takeaways in Pollokshields! The menu is huge with so many great options, and everything we’ve tried has been spot on. Standout dishes for me were the Channay, Lahori Fish, Lamb Curry, and the Chicken Seekh Kebabs – full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Their Biryani is delicious, and the pizzas are absolutely on point with great variety to choose from. The naan breads are soft, fluffy, and just the way they should be. Excellent food, brilliant portions, and top service – highly recommend!

I usually try a food venue three to four times before deciding to leave a review, to ensure that the food establishment is consistent in its offerings. Cafe Reeshah doesn’t disappoint. Over the last few visits i had chance to talk to the management and the chef; their love for great tasting quality food shines through their products and through their conversations. In a nutshell, due to its very basic interior settings, if you are looking for a candle lit, romantic location with posh and plush interiors to take a loved one out on a date- this probably isn’t the place, however, if you are after authentic Pakistani food, more specifically for the taste of food from Lahore, please read on. Cafe Reeshah has ample street parting around. In the past we have tried their different dishes (including their speciality, Lahori tikka) and they left a great positive impression. On this occasion at the Cafe Reeshah, we ordered Haleem, Chicken Pakoras, Seekh kebabs and Naans. The Naans were freshly made, I checked the underside as I usually do (sometimes you get burnt or coal pieces- so such thing here), they were nice and pristine. The chicken pakoras were really nice, soft, juicy and yummy. We liked them a lot. The kebabs weren’t as excellent as the rest of the stuff (I mean they were fine, just that the other items were really really good). Along with the food These came with a white and a pink sause. I haven’t seen or tasted this pink sause anywhere else. It was quite nice. I think it is their own concoction with a blend of different sauces. The main dish was Haleem. It was beautiful, both visually and in taste. It wasn’t very spicy or full of chillies/hot, yet it was very flavoursome and delicious, with just the right balance of spices (don’t take my word for it- I am quite easy to please- but Cafe Reeshah food has multiple times passed my wife’s stringent taste standards, so it’s quite good). All together, due to quality and taste of its food, (tested and tasted over 4 different occasions and found to be consistently very good over time), cafe Reeshah has made its place among my top three food venues in Glasgow. Highly Recommended.

A modest takeaway venue, two tables permit enjoying the food on the premises. And, outstanding food it is too.

Place is like take away/truck stop, menu on their website is out of date and prices are higher … we chose , Lamb kahari, Lahore chaana, tikka , roti , chips ..and tea .lamb was nice , chana average , tikka average , chips usual ready cut frozen , tea was just ok , but they did make it especially .. no sweet dishes . Will be back to try a few other dishes …bill was £37 which is reasonable .
