📍Place: a food truck located right next to Kelvingrove Museum, so you can have a great view when eating your gyros. 🍛 Food: You can have your gyros pita with pork chicken or mixed (all of them cost £6.9), I had the mixed. It's very simple with original Greek pita bread, tzatziki, tomato, onion and fries. Overall it tasted good, a little bit dry to my taste and the meat could have been more flavourful, but generally speaking I enjoyed it. 👩🏻‍🍳 Service: the girls are super sweet and make the order very quickly.

Mactassos is a hidden gem in Glasgow. The friendly owner and employees create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The energetic vibe is infectious and sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. They serve delicious Greek gyros, made with chicken, pork, or both. The gyros are wrapped in a warm bun and filled with fresh fries and other greens that complement the flavours perfectly. The seasoning on the gyros is a secret ingredient that elevates the dish to new heights. Overall, I highly recommend Mactassos. The prices are reasonable, and the food is simply outstanding. It’s a must-try when you’re visiting the Kelvingrove Art and Gallery Museum.

Perfect street food vendor! After taking a walk in the park, this is a perfect stop for a quick bite to eat. Menu is reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of the food. Delicious! every bite was wonderful, beautifully seasoned meats and fresh fillings. Staff were very friendly and welcoming to every customer. Just listening to the staff banter was enough to keep a smile on our faces. Although seating was limited, it was still a great place to sit and enjoy the delightful food and atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys greek style food. Very tasty and fresh. Thank you to the staff, tip well deserved 👏 👍

Sometimes just keeping it simple is the key to success. MacTassos has been serving up top tier gyros for years and it never gets old. Often imitated but rarely bettered. Served with an authentic smile the quality and portion size is unbelievable value and genuinely delicious. One of my favourite eats in the city. Megálos!!

Love the MacTassos food truck. Close to work so it's a nice walk to get there. The food is amazing and authentic. And the PR MacTassos himself always has a wee chat for his customers and a lollipop for the kids. Definitely recommend especially during/after a walk around Kelvingrove 🙂🙂
