📍Place: located close to the greenhouses, well decorated and nice atmosphere with some 50s vibe. Seats are available inside and outside as well. 🍛 Food: they have so many options on the menu with lots of churros, ice creams and milkshakes. I only come for the ice cream (£3.5/£4.5/£5.5) which seemed quite artificial (with the vivid green colour for mint), but they tasted really good and creamy. The Scottish tablet was nothing special, however the banana biscuit tasted natural banana, and the vanilla brownie had real brownie chunks. 👩🏻🍳 Service: they are very kind and attentive, serve you quickly.
Read on Google MapsWe were walking toward the University of Glasgow, coming from the botanical gardens, when we spotted a gelato place. We decided to give it a try. I got one scoop of gelato and decided on a Scottish tablet flavour. It was my first time trying the tablet, and let me tell you, it was definitely worth it. The subtle vanilla complemented the bits of tablet perfectly. It was amazing! Overall, I highly recommend trying the other flavours too. They have a lot of options to choose from. The employee was helpful in deciding what flavour to choose if you’re undecided.
Read on Google MapsLoved it! Its a hidden gem. Love the decor, the staff and I were debating on combinations when it came to flavours of gelato and what style to eat it (cone vs paper bowl vs churro bowl. Ended up getting the bounty gelato with the churro bowl. Recommended! The light coconut flavour gelato with the warm cinnamon sugar from the bowl, then the saltiness of the churro dough itself and the dark chocolate to cut through it all is sooo good! Only down side is since gelato is so soft and the bowl was warm you have to eat quickly and be prepared for a mess!
Read on Google MapsGood variety of gelato flavors, I get the hype! Tried the 3scoops for 5.10 (something like that). I do feel like the churro wrapped around is a bit of a come-on but the gelato as is is fabulous!
Read on Google MapsGreat ice cream as always, but they are hands down the best churros in Glasgow. The ice cream sandwich (made with two swirls of churros and ice cream of your choice) is one of the best desserts i have ever had!
