Life 4 Cuts / CJ’s Korean Street Food at 1016 Argyle Street, Finnieston, pairs a Life4Cuts Korean photo-booth studio with a Korean street-food cafe. CJ’s K-Cafe opened in May 2024 as a Glasgow offshoot of Aberdeen’s Yorokobi by CJ (Michelin Guide–recommended), led by Chef Jang. Expect kimbap, Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), bibimbap, corndogs, and similar street-food plates, with vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and some halal-friendly options flagged by the team. Herald critic Ron Mackenna reviewed it soon after opening — pink photo-booth props, wall-mounted ordering, Spam kimbap around £8, chicken and tteokbokki in a similar bracket. Order in person (often via kiosk), Deliveroo, or phone 07377 134537. HappyCow lists roughly Tue–Thu 1–9pm, Fri 1–11pm, Sat 11am–11pm, Sun 11am–8pm, closed Monday (confirm before visiting; launch press originally said closed Sundays). Kelvinhall subway is about a 5–10 minute walk. Partick station is a longer walk west.
It's a great place for Korean food. The place is very clean, light and airy. To order, we used the kiosk and took a seat. The food came fairly quickly and was delicious. The prices are good value for money with generous portions. Loved the beef bibimbap especially. Definitely worth revisiting.

It's street food style, but it's good to get a few dishes and share amongst friends! The sticker side of the business is a great laugh too! Read on Google MapsI came here with my mum to eat and take photos, and I have to say, we had such a lovely experience! The Kimchi Tuna Kimbab and Vegetarian Bibimbab had just the right ratio of ingredients and both were so delicious. The Korean Fried Chicken had such a soft and chewy interior, whilst the outside was crisp and the sauce was sweet and perfect 🤩 For the photo taking, there was a variety of the cutest headbands and the photos came out really cute! 🥰 The price was affordable as well considering the good quality.
