Cannae fault the food if ye know what ye want. They do shawarma (surprise surprise) at a reasonable price for west end, but maybe 50p - £1 dearer than I’d like it to be. They do all the standard gubbins, lamb mixed salads etc, they’ve got seating inside and outside and the food is delivered quickly. But the floor was unbelievably sticky, marring the entire experience. Customer toilet inside tho, so if you do need a quick release of the bladder and a hot meal go for it. I just got a portion of small chips, which came in a bigger box than I was expecting, so props there and I was welcome to douse it in as much sauce as I liked. Henceforth I absolutely soaked in chilli and garlic sauce. Wouldn’t say it’s the best shawarma I’ve had in west end, and place isn’t the nicest to be in, but overall pretty solid place.
Read on Google MapsI ordered acili Ezme +Adana kebabs +kofte kebab. it was salad not Acili Ezme. They gave me 2 boxes of adana kebabs with some rice . They add alot of onions . The kebabs was disgusting, cold , bad smell , no test and old meat. Very bad 👎
Read on Google MapsUnfortunately very average and super overpriced shawarma. Not enough meat, the sauces have no character and the vegetable selection was underwhelming. Bread was nice tho. Paid £14 for a mixed meat shawarma meal (small chips + can).
Read on Google MapsAnother day, another Sunday shawarma session. King Roj is new, bright and clean with some tasteful, simple decor and a few tables. A concise menu with prices not too extravagant and a focus on shawarma and kebab. Ordered a chicken shawarma box and it instantly reminded me of its not too distant rival at the foot of Byers Road. Portion size was fair for the price and flavours were good. It doesn’t do a lot to differentiate itself from the competition and it probably doesn’t have to given its comfortable mid Finnieston location but I’d like to see something divergent to get my attention. A solid 4 star performance tho
Read on Google MapsService was terrible, clearly racist against English told that we could buy food but not eat in the place whilst others were allowed to eat inside.
