Kebab City is an evening takeaway on Riverford Road in Langside / Newlands (G43), mixing Indian curry-house classics with Glasgow kebab-shop staples. Collection and delivery run seven days a week; official hours are roughly 4pm to 11:30pm for pickup and from 4:30pm for delivery. The menu covers doner, chicken tikka and seekh kebabs, tandoori grills, curries and kormas (most around £9.85), pizzas, burgers, wraps, hoagies, calzones and the usual munch boxes. A set meal for one is about £16.45; for two about £28.55. Just Eat promotes a free 10\" pizza, poppadoms or vegetable pakora with spiced onions on orders over £15. Order via the shop site (with live tracking and an app), Just Eat or Uber Eats. Soft drinks only on the published menu. Uber Eats tags the shop as Halal, but the official website does not state a halal claim — confirm with them if that matters to you. Food Standards Scotland lists a Pass hygiene rating (last published inspection December 2022). Pollokshaws East rail station is about a 6–8 minute walk.
Absolute shocking food, the burger was soggy and the rest of the food absolutely inedible. It went immediately in the bin, I wouldn't even dream of feeding it to the local rat population. Avoid this place like the plague.

Read on Google MapsI love a lamb curry from Kebab City. Unfortunately I'm writing this while sitting on the toilet. My lamb curry tasted different last night, 6/3/25. It had a rancid taste and I only managed ½ of it. I was about to go to work this morning when I had to rush to the toilet. It was an explosion. It's still continuing here in my work. I can't understand it. The food is usually top notch, but last night was a disappointment. I'll not go back now. That makes me sad, as I have had great food up up until last night. 😞😞
