Clay Oven Tandoori giffnock

Went here and ordered in person on a whim after my usual take away was unexpectedly closed. We ordered 2 curry’s a rice and a naan, which would have come to about £33 however the lasy on the till advised us to get the meal deal which was the Sam except included pakora and came to £31 all in so was happy with that. We ordered in person and waited, it took around 30 mins to get the food. It was absolutely delicious, this will be my new regular for Indian food. Really enjoyed it. Only slight criticism is the rice is very slightly too small for 2 curry’s in the meal deal but I suppose with the amount of food we had in the meal deal for 2 it wasn’t an issue the Na’an was HUGE and pakora was fantastic. But maybe a little bit more rice would have been perfect.

Worst Service Today I ordered from this restaurant at 4pm for the order to be delivered by latest 4 35 (average 20 min) The order was for my diabetic mother Who didn't feel well enough to cook Around 4 45 I called the restaurant and they said they haven't started to prepare the order as the restaurant doesn't take orders before 5pm!!!! Why not put it in the deliveroo app in the first place?? Why this kind of misleading service for the consumers?

Have never given a review like this before but it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had. Ordered online. Said it was 25 to 30 minutes delivery. After an hour and a half I phoned them up to find out what was going on. They said they would find out. They clearly forgot I was waiting on the phone. After 20 minutes I ended driving down there and the phone was still off the hook by the staff. They barely apologised. Didn’t give any type or refund so I ended up paying for the delivery that never happened.

I have ordered many times from clay oven before but this has been the worst experience i have had. I got a call shortly after placing the order to say that i hadn't paid enough for delivery even though i paid what uber had charged. I was told i would have to pay more at the door to the driver. First time this has happened as they said our postcode was too far. The food didn't arrive during the estimated time frame so i called the store to ask how long it would be. The girl again mentioned the fact that because we were far which we are only 15mins away it had left the shop and was on the way. If its too far for the takeaway then they shouldnt be offering delivery on uber or complaining about how far we were. Food arrived stone cold and 30 minutes after estimated time frame. Driver was moaning at the door that we live so far and asked for more money. We are regular customers who won't be returning. Absolutely disgraceful and 0 on customer service. After the response left by the owner of clay oven i just checked uber eats to see if they still deliver and as per the screenshot they still do. Shouldn't be advertising if its outwith the area!

Good food but got charged £10 for a chicken pakora. Way too pricey, used to order regularly but probably wont be back at those prices. Shame as the food I would reccomend.
