Istanbul Turkish Kebab House

I bought a munchy box last week. The donner meat was tasty but extremely greasy, the chips were ok but the chicken and vegetable pakora wasn't fresh and over cooked/reheated so much they went in the bin. A waste of a tenner. I was in the area today and gave them the benefit of the doubt, mostly through convenience. I bought another munchy box and guess what. The exact same unfit for eating substandard rock solid pakora accompanied by greasy donner meat. A waste of £13 this time! When I phoned to tell them, the old guy at the desk apologised but made the excuse that he was busy and put the phone down hastily. The shop was dead when I went in so pure nonsense. He did offer a fresh meal but by that time I was 6 miles away in my house. Busy or not - DO NOT PUT OUT SUBSTANDARD FOOD. In my opinion the shops reputation is overated bs! I won't be back.

The portions are very generous and delicious. Only downside is there is no place to sit so you have to take the order and leave. The staff was also very helpful.

One of the best take aways in Scotland. Lahmacun, lamb burgers and adana kebabs are my 'go-to' orders. Food is always cooked to perfection, salad is fresh, top quality chips, and their kebab sauce is different from What you will find anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable too. Boss man always greets you and bids farewell with a smile 👌🏽
