ibis Glasgow City Centre - Sauchiehall St.
Reviews
Hotel very central to my needs. 15 min walk to queen street station. Close to shops and event I attended. Room was great for my needs. Friendly staff, easy check in and out. Also multi storey carpark a few minutes walk from the hotel where parking is validated on leaving for a lesser rate. Happy with my stay.
Read on Google MapsWas greeted by excellent front desk staff who were INCREDIBLY helpful and cheery. Room was clean and fit for purpose. Breakfast in the Novotel was great value (& fresh). Check-out staff (at 5am!!) also went above and beyond to help with my boarding pass. I HIGHLY recommend the Ibis Hotel if you are staying in Glasgow!
Read on Google MapsVery reasonable price for double room, adequate size, bathroom very clean. It looks like a plastic pod but thta means no grungy mould! Good breakfast, you do have to go through an internal door to the Novotel next door. We were going to a concert in The Garage, couldn't be better located as it is on same street. If you are going to a concert there then you couldn't get better!
Read on Google MapsWe stayed in the first week of September. We were very surprised to find the room and facilities were more ‘budget’ than anything else. Size of the room was very tight! We hardly had any space to put our suitcases. The bathroom facilities were very very basic. There was no shower tray, so the water spills into the rest of the bathroom. The shower curtains actually touch the toilet! The toilet had no lid. So felt incredibly unhygienic. Also taking into consideration the bathroom door was a sliding one and didn’t close properly nor did it have a lock. The bathroom also didn’t have an extractor. -Chromecast on the Tv also doesn't work. You're not able to connect your device. - No fridge provided either. There were building works going on right next door to our room door (6th Floor). So being woken up by a drill was the icing on the cake (Pre 9am). Surely hotel staff could have offered us a room on a different floor?!
Read on Google MapsI absolutely love my stay here! This is my first time visiting Scotland, and I had a wonderful snack time with my friend.😻 I want to thank all the staff I met, as they are super friendly and welcoming! They helped with our luggage storage and introduced different types of beers to me, who had no idea about them, and they helped with everything else with great warmth. 🙌🏼Shout out to them!! 🫶🏼They really made my day here in Glasgow👏🏼Cheers!!!🥳
