Goat in the Tree

Once again, I visited Goat in the Tree, a Moroccan restaurant in Glasgow, together with my friends. I often host my meet-ups there. The owner, Abs, is originally from Morocco, and the food, tea, and desserts are truly traditional – so delicious and authentic. The warm, homely atmosphere makes me love coming back every time. I highly recommend this place! 🇲🇦

Lovely little restaurant, very small but creates a cosy atmosphere which I prefer. Friendly woman who served us and recommended dishes which was great. I went with the halloumi and the meatball tagine. Both dishes lovely, hearty and piping hot. Will definitely come back.

A cozy Moroccan gem with just six tables, creating an intimate, welcoming vibe. The warm lighting, traditional music, and charming decor set the perfect mood. The food was outstanding — easily the best Moroccan we’ve ever had. The chicken puff pastry and soup were delicious starters, but the lamb and goat tajines stole the show with their rich, perfectly balanced flavors. Portions were spot-on. 10/10 — highly recommend!

We visited a small yet pleasant Moroccan halal restaurant in Glasgow. We ordered Tagine and a few other dishes. The food was okay.

Absolutely lovely little family restaurant Everything was perfectly cooked and flavourful and well seasoned including the rice. We tried the lamb tagine, saffron chicken and harira soup. I will come back next time up in Glasgow.
