Firepit & Kiln

Came for 1 night from south yorkshire and stumbled across this gem! Highly recommend food was beautiful well seasoned and very flavoursome. We had brisket fries 100g option, chicken pizza with added mince, and kids meal macaroni cheese with fries, and chocolate ice cream. Even the macaroni cheese had rich flavour the staff were incredibly nice. Would love to try several of the other meal options, cost was very reasonable.

Visited on a Tuesday evening whilst I was staying at the ibis budget and I wasn’t disappointed. Nice decor and very clean, the staff were all polite and friendly and very attentive. There were lots of nice options on the menu but I had the carvery as it was under £10. My plate was piled so high I didn’t need a second visit to top up on potatoes and veg. It had two generous slices of beef and two of turkey, large Yorkshire pudding, mash and roast potatoes as well as a variety of roast and boiled veg. Lashings of gravy. It was very filling and delicious. I will definitely visit again soon.

The food here is amazing. I have been a few times and tried several dishes and each time thouroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Yorkies are crispy, light and melt in your mouth. Veg is tasty, the mash is light, fluffy and so creamy. Fish and chips was tasty. Calmari starter is top notch. All I can say is the food is some of the best I have tasted and reasonably priced. Service is amazing and friendly.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The staff member who served us at the carvery bar was awesome and sorted us out with two very generous plates of grub. My only critique would have been the veg selection, would have liked to see something like broccoli or cauliflower options however we came during the week so the offerings might vary on the weekend. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant. Nice staff. Nice food, Great atmosphere. Clean. I was at the restaurant yesterday, I would recommend it to anyone. Great verity on the menu. Free parking. The restaurant is in a great location. Plenty of things to do after your visit. Casino, cinema. Bowling, among other stuff do
