Lovely low-lit atmosphere with absolutely delicious food and cocktails. I'm gluten free and my server Karolina was very friendly and incredibly helpful navigating the menu options for me. I had the corn chowder and the thai beef salad and they were both amazing. For dessert the pineapple carpaccio was so fresh and interesting, perfect for summer. Highly recommended!

I should have gone for the fish. I asked for my meat to be cooked medium rare but it was definitely well done. Apart from that, the food was well prepared (I learned from my table ‘mates’), service was friendly and quick. The Negroni was top

Had the most beautiful and very “different” afternoon tea today in Malmaison. It was so nice to not have the usual sandwiches and have such a lovely choice of savory pieces . The cakes and deserts were to die for and, as much as we tried, we couldn’t stuff everything in! We did get a doggy bag to enjoy the rest at home. The unlimited delicious coffee was a winner for me. The surroundings are very decadent and the booth was so comfortable. We could’ve sat all day if we didn’t have other things to do. All this was made 100 times better by the fabulous Jamal. Just the most friendly, welcoming, attentive server I’ve come across. Nothing was too much trouble, in fact, he went above and beyond to help. Jamal you are an asset to Malmaison. Thank you !

Disappointment over disappointment. Walked in place has a lovely feel. My type of atmosphere was my first impression. Staff greeted us, and seated us early. There were about 3 other tables, possibly up to 12 customers in total. There were 6 floor staff. We waited 20 minutes before being offered a drink. This was by the manager, rather than any of the floor staff. The manager put the drinks on the house, so bit of recovery there. Order taken few moments later. Starters were really nice. I had tuna tacos, my wife had sticky beef noodles. We both enjoyed the tacos, I enjoyed the beef my wife not so much. Everything from this point forward was terrible. I ordered chicken milanese, my wife ordered the risotto. The chicken was a blend of over and under cooked. The chicken was cooked, and quite crispy. The breadcrumbs could only be described as powdery. To me it seems the chicken breast was cooked, then breadcrumbs, then cooked. It was bland and lacking flavour. The risotto wasn't cooked properly. It was still crunchy and definitively undercooked. We both tried a few bites of our own, then each other's to which we refused to eat more. Staff enquired to what was wrong and I explained. Manager came back. Asked if he could get us anything else, and we declined. He asked if he could do anything to compensate, and we politely declined. He insisted that he took details to come back to us to learn more, and insisted on bringing us back at a future date. He said he would email and make arrangements. It has been 10 days without contact. We had a voucher for the meal, so grateful didn't pay anything. They covered anything that sat outside of the voucher.
