Yummy Roast

Superb place…. As regular customers i would highly recommend this traditional Chinese restaurant. Top pick would be the three or two roast, salt and paper chips and chicken. The duck char Sui and pork belly are always cut from fresh. Try for urself and thank me later. It’s situated in Patrick, Dumbarton road it’s a very small place that can be missed.

To quote my good friend Tom Jones “that crispy pork is a problem… because I don’t have any”. I’ve only ever had the three roast from here but my goodness if that’s anything to measure the rest of their menu against, then this little place should be on the Michelin guide. I’m probably overhyping this a little, but with some serious homely warming and gluttonous food, Yummy Roast consistently delivers something that always hits the spot. The staff (who I really hope are a married couple) are absolutely lovely and accommodating, and boss always treats us excellently. A must visit for Partick! Thanks again

You can probably find similar or equal quality in any city with a decent sized chinese community. While it was good for its price and location. There's nothing that makes it an exceptional chinese roast meat store. The char siu pork was flavourful and not too sweet. The crispy pork was crispy and fatty. And the duck was just normal duck. There is nothing to complain about and nothing to write home about. 7.7/10

Had heard good things about this place and glad to say they were correct - great roast meats, amazing green beans, good homemade broth with the wonton soup. Very friendly atmosphere too. I’ll definitely come back, thank you!
