Turquoise is a small late-night Turkish kebab and pizza takeaway at 44 Oswald Street in the city centre, close to Glasgow Central Station and off Argyle Street. Its own site describes a mixed Turkish, Italian and European menu: doner and chicken kebabs, pizzas, pakora, burgers and sides, with online ordering and a 10% online discount. It has long been a post-gig and post-night-out stop, and older reviews rate its chicken kebabs, falafel and houmous wraps and the sarbenni highly. More recent reviews are mixed to poor. Some regulars say it has changed hands and gone downhill, with smaller portions, higher prices and the sarbenni dropped from the menu. Google sits around 3.7 from just over 200 ratings. Halal: a halal directory lists it as halal and pork-free and a past customer review says "All HALAL", but the official site makes no halal claim. Phone 0141 221 9555 to confirm. It is a takeaway with no alcohol listed, and no BYOB policy is published. Listed hours vary between sources but run until around 5am, so check before going.
Have been a routine customer here during my 9 months stay in Glasgow, nice & friendly staff. Food was amazing. I follow veg diet. All the Staff was very helpful being ready to mix n match the food items for me. Have tried most of the veg food items. Will visit again TURQUOISE again when I am in Glasgow!! 🥰🥰💯👌

Read on Google MapsWhere do I start? My previous review of this place was 5 star and probably one of the best in Glasgow. Now, lucky if it's getting one star. Had the misfortune of going in tonight and walked out with nothing. New owners and it has gone downhill rapidly. Hardly anything apart from kebabs or pizzas which are well overpriced. Sarbenni's which Turquoise was famous for, aren't even listed. Guy in front got a donner kebab and it looked terrible. Sad day for Sarbenni lovers and for Glasgow's kebab lovers. Come back the original owners as this place will be shut in 6 months the way its going.
