Dropped in for dinner on the way to a local music venue. dinner for two and the food was top class. 3 course at a good price. Being a soup starter fan was delighted with the mushroom also tried the onion via my parners choice and both were excellent. From the good selection of mains, I chose the beef lasagne which I would highly recommend. Staff were very nice with the chef checking on also which is a nice touch. Cheesecake was to die for. This is a tucked away gem well worth looking up if in the area.

Gorgeous wee place off hidden from the Main Street but well worth a visit. Food was 11/10, owner and wife served us. Definitely book for the weekend as this place will fill during peak times. It’s phenomenal. The menu is exquisite without the pretentious dress code or snobbery. Very down to earth people, very wholesome place. Family owned business, photos of their kids on the walls, lovely decor! If you’re in the area you HAVE to give this place a try. Wel see you again soon folks. Well done.

Just had an amazing meal at The Bistro. Stunning flavours and cooked to perfection. The service was great, friendly and homely. And as we were finishing a family came in after the last service and the restaurant team did not let them leave disappointed and stayed open so they could enjoy a meal. Could not praise this glorious wee place more.

Family run restaurant. I honestly can’t say how amazing it was. Booked a table for 3 adults 2 children and my service dog. Welcomed in by the head chef and Dionne. They went above and beyond for my little girl and my son . Who were complimented on how well they sat at the table behaved and kept the manners good. The food was outstanding the service was amazing my daughter wanted a like whipped cream strawberry’s and a biscuit for dessert they made it. My little girl asked for apple juice they didn’t have any the went out to the shop and bought some so she could have apple juice. I have never had such service we felt like we were part of the family and nothing was to much. My little boy loves cheese and order mozzarella sticks and was fascinated by how much cheese pull he had they were amazing chicken wings beautiful. Big portions and amazing price. 1 girl working bar and restaurants and there was no I’m to busy to deal with my customers she dealt with everyone plates drinks everything was done fast and no issue with her service thank you Dionne have a great wedding. 100% love the bistro.

Absolutely wonderful place! Not only is the food incredibly delicious and made with care, but the owners are also genuinely warm, kind, and welcoming. The interior design is tasteful and cozy, creating a lovely atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. On top of that, the service is friendly and attentive, you truly feel taken care of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a heartfelt and tasty experience!
