The food at Happy House receives positive feedback when quality standards are met, with dishes consistently described as really delicious, amazing, decent amount of meat, tasty, and best of the lot. The restaurant offers Chinese takeaway, and specific dishes receive particular acclaim. The beef curry is described as amazing, the ribs are described as having a decent amount of meat on them, and the chow mein is described as tasty. The food quality is such that reviewers note Happy House always deliver really delicious food, and they've tried loads of chinese takeout places and Happy House is the best of the lot. However, there have been significant quality concerns reported, with food described as as hard as a rock, couldn't be bitten through, needed a knife to cut through it and even then it was a struggle, tasteless, horrible, as if it had a tub of pepper in it, too much salt, and chips not actually cooked. Specific issues include chicken balls described as as hard as a rock and couldn't be bitten through, chips described as tasteless and not actually cooked, salt and chilli chips described as tasteless, sauces described as tasteless and as if it had a tub of pepper in it, fried rice described as too much salt and horrible, and chicken curry described as the same, and it all went in the bin. The food quality concerns are such that reviewers note the food was horrible and it all went in the bin.
Order accuracy has been a concern, with one reviewer noting sometimes when they ask for no onions their food comes with onions in it, suggesting order accuracy issues.
Service at Happy House has been problematic, with one reviewer noting they tried to phone up for food but the woman who answers the phone is too distracted to listen to what they're saying, then they say can you hear me and she replies no I can't hear you when she obviously just answered their question. The reviewer noted they won't be trying to phone for an order again so just lost a customer, and they noted it's a shame as the food is decent, suggesting service issues.
For visitors to Glasgow, Happy House offers Chinese takeaway that can be really delicious and best of the lot when quality standards are met. The takeaway's ability to deliver really delicious food and best of the lot has earned it positive recommendations from some reviewers. However, there have been concerns raised about food quality consistency (including hard, inedible, tasteless, and overcooked items), order accuracy (including incorrect orders), and service (including distracted phone service). The combination of generally good food when quality is consistent, but quality consistency and service concerns, makes it a mixed experience, and the takeaway would benefit from addressing quality consistency, ensuring proper preparation standards, improving order accuracy, and improving service standards to ensure all guests have positive experiences.

Happy House always deliver really delicious food. Beef curry is amazing. Ribs have a decent amount of meat on them. Chow mein is tasty. My only gripe is that sometimes when i ask for no onions my food comes with onions in it. Overall i love this place. I've tried loads of chinese takeout places and Happy House is the best of the lot.
