Spicy Govan

Great place for takeaway and now ice cream. Good quality food and very tasty. Downside, portion sizes not as big as previously,(new owners since mid 2015 or so) still big though.

Not long away from this establishment, my husband order Large kebab Sauce and salad separate Extra sauce Chips Bottle of 7up £8.50 Gets home to find what can only be described as 1/2 portion of chips, portion of kebab meat, 2 sauces and chips Call to advise them as this is the second time we have had an issue (first time no chips in order) After some debate and being told we got what we ordered the gent callede back to ask what was ordered, I asked him to tell me how much it would have cost for my order, he wouldn't answer so I asked him if £8.50 was correct for the order we received. Was told he checked his CCTV and that's what my husband asked for!!! Does that mean that they are voice recording in the shop? No noticed advising of this. I was told to stop talking, at this point I was rude back to him and told him to get off my phone! Would NOT recommend this place! If there was a negative star rating then I would have chosen that!!!

Ordered a bbq kebab for pick up, when i got home i found it had been fried and not barbecued. The onions and peppers were dripping in grease and downright repugnant, as was the chicken. To make matters worse, they hadnt thought to include a pitta bread so i couldnt even make a pitta salad- the salad being the only edible part. Large portions are no use if the food is inedible slop.

I was ill so my mum who has bad feet picked me up a sausage supper on her way home and the chips were hard and shrivelled and the sausages were pink inside i called and told them i wanted a refund the person on the other end told me very rudely i had to take the supper back to them if i wanted a refund but i couldnt due to the aforementioned illness Avoid this place like the plague if you want good food and customer service

Got munch box just had dry chips dry kebab meat dry chicken pakora no onion rings or anything else maybe just a bad night.
