Great vibe. Love the music they played; lots of Indy stuff. I shazamed a few songs which is saying something as a musician. Staff was super nice. Food was bar food but I was grateful the kitchen was open late & there were gluten free & non alcoholic options. I liked the atmosphere too. An original in a world that is too gentrified.

Finished up at work and head here with friends for a pint. Absolutely love the dudes behind the bar! I didn’t get one of their names but Ben was an absolute star! Been here tons of times over the years and they’re always great! Thanks guys!

Got a very terrible experience here with my friends tonight, we be treated very rude and weird!😅😅😅 We came here for dinner and happy hour together, there was no security by the door when we arrived, and after we sitting in and some of us ordered and paid for the food, the staff started to checked the ID of people who haven’t ordered, some of us didn’t bring id with them so they have to go home, but me and other friends have already paid and the food still not be served so we can’t leave here, finally we have to be separated, from now we already feel uncomfortable but we understand the policy. But after all the food been served the weird things happed, after we eating for a while, a staff coming to check our ID again??? I have already be checked once and now she asked me again, and one of us were using the evisa which is a digital ID, and this time this staff didn’t accept hers digital ID anymore, and said we have to go right now cause her doesn’t have an vaid ID, and then she became very rude and even refused to serve me any water or fork😅 We were all confused, if you place doesn’t accept her ID, how did she ordered, paid and got her food successfully? The law says the place has to check ID before ordering, but the main thing is, none of us even ordered any drinks, your map shows here’s a kitchen and we came here just for food, it still doesn’t make sense. The staff argued with us rudely and threatn to us said that she going to call the police. We felt to be really bad treated and had a horrible experience, so we have to tidied and packed our food which still unfinished, leave the place. When we left, we noticed the local people who came here just for alcohol and our friend who is an English speaker, they have never be asked for ID! So you only check the people who have foreign faces? That makes the issue weird even more? Anyway if you need to check everyone’s ID even they don’t plan to order alcohol in your restaurant, you should check it in front of the door by the security, you should not do it after we have paid and eating our food, that’s so rude!!!

Stopped off around 4pm for beer on way to the kings theatre was quiet as expected that time of day on a Friday. But had plenty staff in and could see slowly people coming in. We had already eaten but seen some others meals coming out of kitchen and looked good. Will be back to try the food next time 👍🍺 staff very friendly

Best bar I’ve ever been to. I mean it. The drinks are good, but the food is seriously awesome. Well crafted, always hot, and a good price for what you get. Get the loaded chorizo fries. The cocktails are pretty good but they tend to be pretty sweet. Atmosphere was awesome, the live music always sounds great, and the staff are so friendly and fun. I would visit Glasgow again just to go to this bar!
