Shinwari Restaurant Glasgow

Food was great. Service great aswell. Only down side was the Afghan autotune songs playing which ruined the vibe a bit. Would definitely return.

This is a very good Asian food restaurant with a classic taste of Pakistan. You do not find many restaurants with classic Pakistani taste in England. I am glad I visited it while visiting Scotland. The time I visited, it was very busy; all the tables were booked, and I had to wait and was given a table just next to the door. It was very uncomfortable with the family. On top of that, once the order was taken, no one came to ask if anything was needed, and there was no response to calls as we ran out of water. I will give full marks to the food, but the service was not great. Cannot comment on the cleanliness inside the kitchen, as I saw them dropping dishes in the sink. I hope authorities visit and make sure cleanliness of the kitchen. I would recommend they need more space for the families and busy times. They do not make burgers, though they list it on their menu. They get it from some other shop for you.

Amazing ambience and great food, Highly recommend this place if you are in town to taste the food of Pakistan! Owner Naeem made sure he served us with love and hospitality. We are thankful that he made us feel home.

I ordered kebab, biryani, and fish, and all three dishes were excellent. The kebab was flavorful and perfectly grilled, the biryani was well-spiced, and the fish was delicious. Overall, it is a satisfying and tasty experience. Highly recommended!
