Reviews
Staff were all friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a warm and cosy atmosphere. Menu had great choices and plenty of options. Tried quite a few starters and they were all delicious. Chose the pizza pasta bowl for a main and this was very filling and delicious. We came as 2 couples so there were various selections. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we all left satisfied and full. Desert menu also available but had no room!! Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
Read on Google MapsRomanos is a fantastic find! The pizza was absolutely amazing – perfectly baked with a crisp, flavorful base and generous, high-quality toppings. Every bite was full of authentic taste and comfort. But the real surprise was the pasta served inside the pizza base – and wow, what a brilliant idea! It was rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor, all wrapped in that delicious, golden crust. A fun and creative twist that totally worked. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and food that leaves you smiling. If you're a pizza or pasta lover, Romanos is a must-visit!
Read on Google MapsVisited here yesterday and was initially apprehensive after seeing some of the reviews. However, the food was excellent, and the service and surroundings were fine. We had the pizza pasta bowls and the serving was plenty. I feel other reviewers had too high expectations - this is a good food and value for money restaurant, if you want a fancy restaurant go to one and pay fancy prices!
Read on Google MapsI visited Romans Restaurant and tried their new Pizza Bowl with Pasta – it was absolutely delicious. The Lasagna Pasta was fabulous as well. The staff and chef are very humble, and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. A truly delightful dining experience – highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Read on Google MapsTo say social media exaggerated would be the understatement of the century, the resteraunt in itself was far from chic and placed decorative lights in an otherwise shabby design... the wallpaper was half finished and in some place a blue wall was visible under the white paper... although I did not see the toilets myself I was informed that the state was similar to that of high school toilets. The service was friendly although that could not save the blatant carelessness and lack of knowledge on a menue id assume they serve everyday... my partner has a severe nut allergy and when asking about allergen advice the response we got was nothing short of a "umm..." the uncertainty by the staff to tell us that they dont THINK anything contains nuts despite the only two available deserts being chocolate and caramel which always have traces and occasionally are made with nuts gave us no hope and left us feeling uneasy and worried about our dinner... we decided to have only a main each and choose safe options, the food was... fine, mediocre, not bad but not great... the social media posts have definitely been disappointing, not to mention couples being turned away from the door while we were there for not having a reservation in an empty resteraunt. The staff were friendly but the portions were small and we were given a tiny dip of ketchup with the chips which lasted maybe 9 chips before it was done. Please save yourself the money and instead go to Barolo... a fantastic little italian place not much more expensive than this place but definitely holding class much higher.
