Nando’s Glasgow – Waterloo Street is the Central Station branch of the UK PERi-PERi chicken chain, at 1 Waterloo Street (G2 6AY). Official pages put it about a two-minute walk from Glasgow Central and an eight-minute walk from St Enoch subway — a convenient pre-/post-train or city-centre pit stop near Vue Cinema, GoMA and the Clyde. Eat-in, Collect and Delivery; Wi‑fi on site. Phone 0141 221 3072. Like other UK Nando’s, it is walk-in only for eat-in: the branch page and Nando’s help centre both say they do not take online table bookings — show up, and join a virtual queue by phone number if the restaurant is busy. Order and pay at the table via the Nando’s app where available. Hours (official): Mon–Wed & Sun 11.30am–10pm; Thu–Sat 11.30am–10.30pm. Brand offer is flame-grilled chicken (and plant-based alternatives) basted to a chosen PERi-ometer heat — Plain…ish through Extra Hot — plus Nandinos kids set meals, vegetarian/plant-based options, beer and cider. Google rates this branch around 4.3 (moderate price). Parking is city-centre; Q-Park Waterloo Street is on the same street. Other Glasgow Nando’s include Sauchiehall Street, West End, St Enoch Centre sites, Braehead and Silverburn.
The service was friendly and efficient and the food was very nice. The lemon and herb sauce had ran out but I was promptly given some sachets instead which was really appreciated. I really enjoyed the still lemonade. A very short walk from Glasgow Central station, this branch is well located too.

Read on Google MapsTried the fino pitta for the first time and let me tell you, it might be better than the sunset burger. Tried the garlic pitta since it was new and it was better than expected (and tasted better than it looked), the red pepper chutney with it was delicious. The fino pitta is filled with chicken, grilled halloumi, caramelised red onion, lettuce, and garlic aioli. A great combination of flavours.
Read on Google MapsA fairly comfortable and friendly restaurant to dine in. Menu was easy to read and choose, even for a foreigner. Staffs were cool but helpful. A bit pricy to be really honest if judge that by food portion, but taste was good. Especially with their wide choice of sauce. Quite a good experience.
Read on Google MapsNando’s probably some favorite here in the UK. But I prefer Pepe’s Piri Piri more because it’s rich in flavor and their Garlic Mayo hits different. The sauce that I chose was a seasonal period thing. It was really sour. The platter was decent. The hummus was really bad, I would rather have a hummus somewhere else better.
